The winery excursion surveys the unique features, history, terroir, and wines of each of the ten wineries. It begins with Washington State's historic Chateau Ste. Michelle and continues the journey through Washington, visiting Columbia Crest, Snoqualmie, Col Solare, Northstar, and Spring Valley Vineyard. Heading south, the tour explores Erath Winery in Oregon and onto California's Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, Conn Creek Winery, and Antica Napa Valley.

I love this cookbook ... why? Because it has WINE! My first thought was that the recipes would be too difficult with ingredients too hard to find. Not the case at all. I made the flat iron steak with the wine marinade and it was so delicious and easy to do. I topped that off with one of their side dish recipes and a dessert! Super easy and it made me look like a gourmet cook at the dinner table!
