Building Systems Design, Vol. 1 Book

While I did not like many of the styles shown in this book, it is full of information on how to use color in your home decoration and how color affects the look and mood of the room. Therefore before jumping into a new color scheme, I highly recommend this book. The back half of the book gives step by step instructions on how to apply different painting techniques including stippling, stripes, rag rolling, bagging, color-washing, and creating faux effects like stone and brick work.
