About the Author:

S. Eva Singletary, MD-winner of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center's Faculty Achievement Award for Patient Care-is Associate Professor of Surgery and Associate Surgeon in the Department of Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Texas Medical School. Dr. Singletary is also Director of M.D. Anderson's Long-Term Breast Clinic and Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Breast Cancer Research Group. Dr. Singletary has also served on the President's Cancer Panel Special Commission on Breast Cancer.

Alice F. Judkins, RN, MS, is Coordinator of the Long-Term Breast Evaluation Clinic at the Department of Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Ms. Judkins is the 1996 recipient of the Ethel Fleming Arseneaux Outstanding Nurse Oncologist Award.
