When Bo, the mischievous black Labrador, and his owner, Mrs. Barnett, decide to take a vacation at their friends' hundred-year-old farm, they expect to spend the end of summer relaxing and enjoying the history of the area. But with fierce wildfires sweeping across the countryside, peaceful Newton, Texas, is in danger.
The town's firefighters struggle to contain the rapidly spreading flames, and Mrs. Barnett and her niece Kendall begin to suspect that an arsonist is starting the local fires. Time is quickly running out, and with a strange man and a town's suspicions fueling the flames, it's up to Bo to solve the mystery and save Newton before it's too late.
