[I love Tony and i love his relationship with Margaret (he wrote to her asking to correspond!!!) but damn it, sometimes I want throw him in the lake for getting between Joe and Betsy, these three teenage fools! Some things I especially loved:
- Joe likes straight hair! Joe couldn't wrote properly in the Essay Contest because his brain was full of Betsy and the color of her hair and the way she blushes (!!!)
-"But I do love him, Betsy insisted. "You know, Margaret, there are lots of kinds of love in the world. I love him in a different way from the way he loves me, that's all."
- Betsy couldn't talk to anyone about Joe, not even dear Julie because the way she feels about him is so precious and personal. I DIE YOU ALL. I DIE, BETSY AND JOEEEEEEE. (hide spoiler)]
