Andrew, Catch That Cat!
I first started reading Franklin books to my daughter, Katherine, when she was only two years old!
Now, I am blessed, to be able to share these books, with the two little girls I watch!
In this story, Franklin finds a huge pumpkin growing in his backyard!
He wants to enter it into the Fall Fair; but when Bear tells him, that the contest is for the largest zucchini, he is crushed!
Thankfully, he is able to use that pumpkin for an even better use!
He even manages to win a blue ribbon!
This book took me back to my teaching days at St. David, AZ. It is a small town and very much like the town Franklin is fortunate enough to live in.
The Fall Festival was a very important time of year there. It was nice to be able to tell the girls some stories about the experiences I had at the Fall Festival!
My girls, keep asking, for more Franklin books!
We are going to try reading, as many Franklin books, as we can find!
