In each volume of the "American History by Era" series, articles from primary and secondary sources describe important events and cultural trends of each era. For example, Post-Cold War America includes articles on the Rodney King verdict, gangsta rap, Waco (by Janet Reno), the O.J. Simpson trial, television comedy, the Columbine massacre, President Clinton's impeachment, the 2000 election dispute, the collapse of Enron, the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the war on terrorism (from a speech by George W.
