A killing freeze Book

This is definitely a quick and simple read so would catch younger audience attentions although some of the elements steer it for definitely older children than the younger children who may want to chew on the book some.

The story was in my opinion too short while the characters and plot both shuffled along. Although the story was meant to take place in just four days there could have been more to read while the conclusion of the book itself was a letdown after building up some of your suspensions along the way.

And the characters were bland - the story's heroine was naively stupid but I am trying to remind myself this story was written in 1988 when the times were different. Instead you will meet time and time again the author pointing out that everyone looks the same - both the heroine and her father so that they could wear the same clothes as well as younger children seeming so unisex whether it is was through old photos or in the events of Winterfest. All in all this is definitely one I am not going to be keeping.
