A Woman Called Sage
I usually enjoy books of this genre, Christian fiction/western or pioneer but this one was ho hum. I liked the clean story and of course being a Christian book but too much action driven rather than character driven. The characters never came alive for me. I did have a problem with a story that one of the characters told about his grandfather breaking a leg of one of his sheep to keep it from wandering. Well, that story just didn't sound correct because any animal that can't run or in the best of health succumbs to wolves, coyote or bear and endangers the entire herd. I can go along with some make believe in a story but this one made me go "what"!!? Now onto other books.
