While Bellamy's "style" and interesting command (or lack thereof) of writing convention leaves much to be desired in his books, to which he alludes repeatedly, the stories he shares are fascinating. The sordid tales of Cleveland's female killers will surely make you see the history of the Forest City in a different, more interesting, light.
