A Concise Guide to Understanding Music Book

The author is a respected classical pianist with a stellar talent and reputation. This audiobook was a series of four programs he presented, during which he presents a lot of history and background and theory about music he then plays before presenting the piano music. It was interesting and insightful to hear his analysis. The four programs cover Mozart, Beethoven, romantic period composers, and Russian composers. It was a nice variation on the normal audiobook I've listened to during the past few years!
