This publication is an inspiring insight into the lives of women who overcome the enormous challenge of living in Sudan, acountry torn apart by a brutal civil war, to become leaders and peacemakers in their societies. The book provides us with information on the status of women living in areas where the war is still going on, including internally displaced women and those living in refugee camps. It also covers the status of women living in peaceful regions of the country with regards to workload, legal rights, education and health.
