Four keynote lectures provide an overview and describe durability design of GFRP rods and new types of continuous fiber reinforcements. Other topics include a stress-strain model for FRP- confined concrete in design applications, bond behavior of CFRP strips glued into slits, debonding failure of RC structural members strengthened with FRP laminates, shear performance with externally bonded carbon fiber fabrics, hood rupture strains of FRP jackets in FRP-confined concrete, durability of GFRP composites in tropical climates, and the viability of CFRP laminates to repair RC beams corroded under sustained loads. Not a bad textbook--but definitely not the best. The tables/figures are very helpful.
