Researching Violently Divided Societies
Great collection of interviews with interesting people who speak about interesting things. A must-read if any of the featured interviewees catch your eye, and honestly a pleasant surprise even if they don't. The interview with Haunani-Kay Trask was particularly enlightening, as who ever really hears about Hawaii or the actual sentiment of Hawaiians? But then, all the interviews brought up things I didn't know, or new perspectives on things I knew a little about.
Definitely a great little book. Easy to read, perhaps hard to stomach, and in a strange way wonderfully reminiscent of that odd, odd time between 1998 and 2002.
