Introduction to Educational Leadership and Organizational Behavior: Theory into Practice Book

This text brings theory to life in the everyday world of school leadership. It succinctly presents concepts and theories of organizational behavior and processes of leadership and immediately applies them to problems of practice.

Authors Patti and Edward Chance organized this text by presenting theories in context of both their historical development and their applicability to school leadership today.

At the beginning of each chapter is a bulleted summary of applications for school leaders. Also, each chapter concludes with two sections:
• Theory into Practice, a practical case study with a sample analysis to illustrate the application of theory to practice.
• Reader's Application, another case study, followed not by the authors' analysis but by questions to help readers reflect upon their own values & perspectives.
