The book "Spooky Spooky Spooky" by Cathy MacLennan is a Halloween themed children's book. Filled with webby webs and spider eggs and lots and lots of legs! As you turn to the next page there is always something new and spooky to see. But towards the end of the book you see that the scary or spooky things were not as they seemed and that they were actually costumes of little trick or treaters out and about on Halloween.
I thought this book was very clever and had great illustrations. It was very colorful and had lots of rhyming and repetition for the younger children to follow along with the book. It is a perfect way to get children into the Halloween spirit. This book is definitely geared towards the younger ages and has large writing that could easily be read out loud to a group during story time or even read during the fall holiday season.
