River of Hands
This is the weakest I've read in the series so far. It starts with a particularly ridiculous irrelevant opening scene that shattered my suspension of disbelief (hint: You can't hang yourself off a large copper object using magnets). The mystery proper presents four suspects ... and then picks one out of a hat. Even worse, the book essentially ends with a really terrible deus ex machina as a previously (and almost latterly) unseen character saves the day. Yuck.
