The first thing you need to know about this book is that it was actually published in 1971.
And it shows.
The language is male-oriented and the information provided is clearly not current or re-worked in any way to reflect changes in forensic medical practice in the last 40+ years.
The most annoying thing for me about the book is that there are no academic references or statistics of any kind to add context to the information or provide supporting evidence. This is particularly galling when the author is speaking about complainants of sexual assault or rape. At least twice he plainly states that most of the accusations by women turn out to be false after physical examinations of the complainants...yet offers absolutely no statistics or supporting evidence to back this claim up, suggesting instead that most women who allege sexual assault or rape do so out of spite.
I wouldn't bother with this one unless you are specifically looking for information on forensic practice from the middle of last century.
