An anthology of poems that relate to growing up as a boy on an Oregon wheat farm, then to life and its crossroads, including the joys and mysteries of grandchildren. The 84 page volume is richly illustrated with original photographs (many in full color) by the author. One poem asks, "Where have all the poets gone?" Another includes ghosts of the past and looking forward to immortality through grandchildren. Many of the poems are laced with humor, such as, "The Tattletale Crow" and "Midnight Snack". "The Fisherman" explores the excitement and dangers of crossing the bar on a rough ocean. Cat lovers will enjoy "Golf Ball, The Cat" and "The Big White Cat".
