Wheelmaking: Wooden Wheel Design and Construction
This is an amazing piece of nostalgia - well it is if your British. This was one of the iconic comics of an era - ok this book represents issues before my time (regardless of how old I look) however the cutaway pictures so lovingly reproduced were a mainstay of the Eagle comics from start to finish.
Like so many comics they were a friends - they were never bought for me (could never afford them) so I would beg borrow (and steal) a read of them whenever i could and always the cutaways were my favourite. They were so complex and detailed and yet seemed so easy to follow (to this day I wish i was that gifted). They range from everyday objects to the fantastical - they all however were fascinating. So when this books of reproductions was released I just had to have my piece of publication history.
