I thought this book was interesting.
From the beginning, I wondered how this crash affected Cindy Lou in her life since she was so young to have lost her mother. I also thought it was interesting seeing how she described the problems with alcohol in the family. Although I haven't lived with an alcoholic, I have known people with very similar experiences and it was an eye opener of the dangers and sadness of alcohol.
I am glad that life has gotten better for Cindy Lou and that her previous experiences in life should help her in trying times that may come. If she ever doubts her strength, she can remember what she has accomplished and be inspired.
