Grey Seer Book

I'm at war with myself on this one... I am an enthusiastic Thanquol fan and found his part of the story interesting and entertaining, and I enjoyed the plot of the text as a whole. However, I also found that there were too many proverbial irons in the proverbial fire, and ended up reading a great deal about people for whom I never cared. Werner's constant exposition became slightly tiresome as well, and the framing of the story from different perspectives forced the narrative to sometimes review the same incident from several points-of-view. Such framing can potentially result in fascinating experimental work, but here it simply slowed the plot pace to a crawl. General Warhammer fans will probably like this novel just fine, and there are some giggle-aloud moments of amusement, but it's not the novel I would recommend for someone new to the Warhammer world.
