Madeline's Rescue (Cassette and Book) Book

Its four in the morning and i have not slept at all... I am very, very sick so please bear with me on this review... I don't have any humor in me to give to you guys so lets just get down to business. Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans is a great book for children but i don't think its a book i could read out loud without singing to it. This is the kind of book that has rythem and that you want to sing all the way threw... The girls find a dog and named her Geniveeve all the girls loved the little puppy and often fought over who got to sleep with her. One day a few inspectors came to the orphanage to do an inspection and discovered the sweet little puppy they of course threw the dog out and Madeline and her companions had no choice but to go and find Geniveeve... They searched up high and they searched down low but the pupy was no where to be found. Finally the nun finds Geniveve under her bed and al is well. The story in all gets three stars for the effort and tremendous rythem that is kept threw out the book.
The pictures did not at all impressive me much... The color was off and i debated on giveing the illustrations a full star but i decided to be nice.... Guys i am really sorry that this review is crummy i would usually go into more detail. I don't get sick a whole lot but i am one of those girls who gets REALLY SICK whenever she does... I really do apolojize..... I will type up another one later in the afternoon and i am doing another Pegion book if i am feeling better so i am excited about that... Again i am terribly sorry... :(
