Faith of Men Book

Another great collection of short stories about the Yukon! If I've learned one thing this year, it's that Jack London was absolutely OBSESSED with the Great White North. Worth reading, especially for the short story "Bâtard," which I thought was the best of the bunch because of its portrayal of a hateful relationship between dog and master, an interesting twist on London's usual writing about animals. Another must-read short story in this collection is "The One Thousand Dozen," an entertaining yet sad tale of a man attempting to transport a bunch of eggs from San Francisco to the Klondike in order to sell them at a profit. Hilarity and tragedy ensues.
