Ciel reveals the truth to Shiki but in the process all evidence of her has been erased at the school. By all evidence I mean everyone else's memories as well. Shiki also begins having visions in his dreams of the Roa killings and momentarily believes that he is the reincarnated Roa! Briefly Arcueid displayed some loss of control when Shiki's had a panic attack and was bleeding in the street but she ran away before an explanation was given. It seems like this was a mysterious volume explaining one part of the story but then leaving you with mystery's about Shiki, Arcueid, Ciel and even Akiha.
