I remember well reading this book and wondering what motivates this woman (the author)to be out on the road at night, alone in her car, with her dog passenger? As the series of true stories continued, I learned of the multitude of abused and suffering dogs who are rescued only through the dedicated, caring efforts of dog lovers. As Deborah Eades shared her experiences, including the usually happy outcomes, I came to understand the motivation and rewards. This book will touch the heart of dog lovers.
