Elfis and the Elves Get All Shook Up is a "Rise and Shine" musical specifically designed to be performed on choral risers. These presentations are highly entertaining and provide valuable learning opportunities for your students while putting the rehearsal process on the fast track to success. In this mini-musical, Elfis decides the elves are always working hard during the holiday season and never see how other cultures celebrate. After talking Santa into letting him borrow the sleigh, Elfis takes the elves on a whirlwind tour. They get an opportunity to observe holiday celebrations including Las Posadas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas gift-wrapping. Through this exciting musical journey, the performers and audience learn that our different celebrations should not set us apart.
