This is a great book when you want to read and your child wants to move around. Young readers are definitely going to want to "follow the leader" and do what the book describes. The author does an exceptional job of blending counting (1 to 10), baby animal names, and habitat into a fun rhyme. The information in the back is excellent.
Tips from the illustrator are handy if you are reading with an older child and/or focusing on the artwork. Highly recommended for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
