I love cookbooks and I especially love old cookbooks and on top of that this cookbook seems to flow in my Appalachian blood. Many of these recipes are reminiscent of the food I ate as a kid and, of course, the food I love to prepare now. I haven't used any of Miss Mary's recipe's yet (since I don't have any Jack Daniel's ;D) but I plan to!
I also loved the history behind this cookbook. Wonder if I could get my DH to drive me through Miss Mary's hometown the next time we're that way?
