About the Authors:

Harry Salem II grew up in Flint, Michigan. After his father's death in 1968, he relocated with his family to Florida. In 1980, he joined the Oral Roberts Ministry and at the age of 26 became Vice President of Operations and Crusade Director, followed by Director of Television Production. In his work as author, television writer, producer and director, he has won several Angel and Addy Awards, most recently for the successful book, For Men Only.

Cheryl Salem grew up in Choctaw County, Mississippi, and overcame many challenges to become Miss America 1980. She is an accomplished author, speaker, musician, recording artist and teacher. She has recorded ten albums and CD's and has written numerous bestsellers, including her autobiography, A Bright Shining Place, and most recently, The Mommy Book. She continues to co-host the popular national daily program, Make Your Day Count.

Salem Family Ministries focuses on family and restoration. They stress the unity of family, marriage, personal relationships, financial goals and parenting, as well as lead motivational meetings on overcoming obstacles, such as abuse, abandonment, poor self-image and finances. Together they have written over 16 books including An Angel's Touch, a top 25 bestseller, and their most recent release, Speak the Word Over Your Family for Healing, the 2nd in the "Speak the Word" series. They also have a popular new video and audio series on marriage and family entitled, Harvest Time for Your Family.

When not in their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Salems continue to minister full-time throughout the world. Harry and Cheryl are the parents of three children, Harry III, Roman Lee and Gabrielle Christian.
