Yes, I read yet another book by a surgeon about being a surgeon. This one might be the best one yet. He writes in detail about his general surgery residency year by year and the different responsibilities he had each year. He tells about some of the unusual and difficult cases he saw. Doctors really deal with some weird stuff, and one case in particular where the patient had a chronic disease and was at the end was heartbreaking. I enjoyed this book a lot. And I'll probably read some more books about surgeons because I find what they do and how they train to do it fascinating.
