The Smithsonian Institution and Radio Spirits proudly present this centennial collection of the master of mayhem's classic radio broadcasts including "The Lodger, "the 1940 audition broadcast that introduced audiences to Suspense, radio's outstanding theatre of thrills.

This rare collection also includes radio adaptations of Sir Alfred Hitchcock's classic films Lifeboat, Foreign Correspondent, The 39 Steps, Rebecca, Shadow of a Doubt and Strangers on a Train, performed by superb casts that included Tallulah Bankhead, Joseph Cotten, Herbert Marshall, Mercedes McCambridge, Glenn Ford, Loretta Young and Sir Alfred's daughter Patricia Hitchcock.

The collection also includes a 54—page historical book featuring a foreword by film critic Leonard Maltin.
