Once Around the Fountain
A travelogue of sorts that was more personal then I care to read about. A horn dog guy who cared more about where his next sex fix was coming from then the actual location of where he was. Not as graphic as I am making it out to seem, but I hated the writer a lot.
Chapters were super short, so it was kind of hard to follow. A chatty guy who met a lot of people in New York City who happen to live in Europe and he visits them. Somehow he has an american and german passport, because his parents are from there and this is supposed to serve him better? I have no idea why. He mostly travelled in Germany, which I have no interest in, S. Italy, which I have never been too and Spain and S. France, which I don't really care about either. I like the short chapters, but I didn't really care what he was saying. About halfway through the book, he is back in NYC and meets the love of his life and then takes her to Europe? Why? Not really sure.
I hate self assured guys who think the world (and sex) revolves around them.
