The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart Book

I read this many years ago and don't remember much. I should reread it someday. In the meantime, here are my notes:

journey a quest to find a place/vocation in the social structure as well as a pilgrimage
debunking false idealism of the university
reject human contructs of religion and embrace simple devotion to Christ
salvatory paradise of the heart

Then in class the professor seems to have talked a bit about how the text reflects the tragedies of Comenius' life: the loss of his wife and homeland, the trauma of religious wars, shipwreck.
