This book is a collection of poems about summer. It contains poems about things you could do in the summer, as well as the different animals/insects that you can see during the summer. The poems remind me of when I was a kid and what my summers were like.
I enjoyed these poems a lot. There are many different subject, which is good for different students. The illustrations are also very fun and cute!
You could use these poems as transitions, or you could use them to start a writing piece about something each student likes to do in the summer!
