Responding to Domestic Violence: A Resource for Church Leaders Book

The book is comprised of several short articles by a plethora of authors in the fields of science, religion, and philosophy. They all focus on points found in the intersection of science and religion, from predictable subjects such as evolution and free will to more obscure topics like cloning, extra-terrestrial life, and intelligent robots.

The book is already dated, published in 2000 when Dolly the cloned sheep was still a novelty and the human genome project was barely underway. This, in combination with the shortness and shallowness of each of the articles, makes it a dull read. Because the articles are each less than four pages, they cannot explore more than the surface of whichever topic they are discussing. There is a lot of overlap between articles, which are each written by a different author.

God for the 21st Century looks at an important topic with good intentions, but unfortunately it makes a potentially interesting book rather dull-ish.
