Great Customer Service for Your Small Business Book

Very disappointing read. I had to push hard to persevere through it.

It's painfully outdated! This book needs SERIOUS updating!! Maybe it has been, and I just didn't look hard enough for it.

eg: references to mail, faxing & telephone, as if they're primary tools of a marketer. It mentions the internet and e-marketing as if they're brand new...which they kind of were back when this book was written.

Not only are the illustrations and applications outdated, it's sometimes written as if talking to a 3rd grader.

I read it because Seth Godin is a co-author, and I've really enjoyed several of his books. After reading, however, I'm going to pretend his name is not associated with this book.

I did extract a few good take-aways, but only after suffering through too much that had no application.
