Beck Book

So I picked this up at Housing Works and read it on the bus back to DC and was just amazed that something so poorly written could have made it past an editor. Rambling, incoherent at times, constantly arguing points that don't matter, it does a decent job, despite itself, of putting the basic facts of Beck's life in some semblance of order. But it does little to nothing to make sense of them or tie them to anything else musical or otherwise.

The second half of the book, a discography, is of interest - if you can get past the rambling notes attached to each entry. Otherwise, not worth picking up.
