Bighorn Sheep Book

Meet the Meerkat, by Darrin Lunde, is a book that introduces an animal that not many students have seen or heard of before reading this book. The book takes a creative path by stating everywhere and everything that the Meerkat does throughout his day. I liked the informational criteria to this children's book I found out things about this animal that I have never really known before. I would have this book available to students in my future classroom as a reference text or have it in a text set of exotic and different animals. I believe that this book could help my students learn about animals in a new and different way. I would love to include this book in a text set in my future classroom because it would be beneficial to my students.
