Clemson University Students
Tell It Like It Is

Clemson offers an amazing college experience. Students return for the rest of their lives to see how the campus has changed and to support the Tigers. Although it is located in a small town, the school is big enough that there is never a dull moment, and the location only makes the student body closer to one another. As anyone who has been to Clemson knows, the students' blood here is orange, and the Clemson spirit is contagious for almost anyone who attends. But why?

The BEST Things
* Excellent athletics
* School spirit
* Safety and security
* Friendliness of the town
* Modernity of facilities
"I love Clemson. When I'm away, I just want to be back; all my friends agree. College is a world of its own. If you want it all-good academics, great people, Greek life, sports, school spirit, seriously consider Clemson. I never had 'that' school where I wanted to go. I simply had an idealized vision of having a classic college experience. Clemson is pretty close."

"I've had really good experiences with my teachers. There are a couple professors that I go out with for lunch or for coffee. There are a lot of professors whom I consider to be friends of mine first and professors second."

No school is completely perfect, however. Turn to College Prowler for Clemson's pros AND cons.

"Clemson is definitely a 'college town.' Without the school, there is not much to it. Downtown consists mainly of one street. Outside of Clemson there is not much to do; I can't name any outrageously cool museums, clubs, or restaurants to goto."

"You should know before coming that Clemson, because of its location in the Bible Belt of the South, is still under the 'blue laws', which means that there is no selling of alcohol on Sundays. This also means the bars close at midnight on Saturday nights."

Get both sides of the story, straight from the students' mouths.

Visiting campus isn't enough.

Read our Clemson University insider's guide and discover what it feels like to be on campus for 4 years.

Discover if Clemson is Right For You.
