Atlanta Kitchens: Recipes from Atlanta's Best Restaurants
I am a little biased because I live in Atlanta. I thought this book was really interesting. Even when you live in a city that is slightly sprawling and struggling to become a major player in the global arena (we are still trying to find our niche); you can forget there are lots of upscale restaurants in the city. Personally, I did enjoy seeing restaurants that I wasn't aware of, let alone heard about. I did see a restaurant that I had been to and it is an Atlanta landmark; Mary Mac's Tea Room. The fried chicken is really good there. I do wish they could have shown more of the smaller restaurants that have graced the city for years. Interesting cookbook.
