Nightmare Inspector: Yumekui Kenbun, Volume 5
Maybe it's that I haven't read this series for a long time but I was unprepared when I picked up this volume. I'd forgotten how dark it was and for the first time, I really kind of got the whole horror label for this series. Most the stories I could barely get through and none really stood out as ones I liked. I still love the main characters and want to know more about the Delirium, etc. but I don't know how many more short stories like this I can take. Between the coffin story, the friends who were not human (and whose end was really messy), and the others, I didn't enjoy this as much as the previous volumes. One more volume to get through that I borrowed. This one I'm reading with the lights on.
