This volume actually raises the bar a little and discusses some interesting dynamics between girls and boys. Junpei's reflection on his interactions with others, provides a good insight into the evolution of figuring out the reality between assumptions and expectations that shape a myriad of possibilities and diversity. It's nice to see some strong female characters in what could essentially be a very male-centric manga, without losing any of its charm.
