Inuyasha, Volume 26 Book

Is anyone else getting bored with my reviews for every single little Inuyasha volume? Does anyone even read my reviews? not often anyway. The most I actually get is 3 or 4 on my Robin Hood novel reviews. (Check them out sometime if you're a hood fan! I have lots of get recommendations for a great hood book. :D ) oh well though. I recently promised myself I would start writing a review for every book I read, and that includes manga. Even if there are 56 of them.

So! "the scared mountain " volume # 26 of Inuyasha.

Lots of violence and fighting and a magical shield that makes it harder for the demonic members of our beloved family of mismatched fighters. Not to much in the way over all development. Really I'm just waiting for all this band of seven nonsense to be over. It's dragged on for,like, 3 books now & it's getting old. The fight scenes are great & the art is stellar, but I'm really starting to prefer the calmer scenes were the characters are just sitting around and talking to each other, or when kagome goes back to the modern world. It's a nice change from all the blood shed.

Which is sort of hypocitcal of me, as I usually love me some uber Gorey books. (My love of the shadowdance series & the outlaw chronicles are a testament to that.) but after 26 it's getting stale. But! I'm this far in. Need to finish this! The characters are well rounded, good writing, & manga over all is 1 of the best I've ever read. (Not that I've read very many, but I am working on it.)

& I did like that kagome actually tried to help this time around, shooting instead of just standing there shouting. A nice change.

Final verdict? Good, but not great. Not memorable, but probably needed to follow the next volume's plot.
