Healthcare Delivery in the U.S.A.: An Introduction Book

I can't "believe" I actually finished this "book."

I was tasked with reading Healthcare Delivery for work, and to put it mildly, I was disappointed with it. Schulte takes great delight in using quotation marks around words and phrases that don't really need them. There were seven just in the introduction to the book, and I stopped keeping track of them after the first few dozen.

The information itself was okay, although as a healthcare book, it's obsolete as soon as it's published. I am curious if a better version of this book will be written that addresses recent issues on the topic such as meaningful use of EMRs and the contention surrounding the Affordable Care Act. Hopefully it would be written by somebody else, though.
