Growing Out of Fear Book

Alex is a twelve-year-old boy moving up from grade school into junior high. He lives in fear almost every day, afraid of just about everything and everyone, due to his small size and overwhelming shyness. Alex is your classic case of the little boy who was picked on and made fun of at school. One day he makes a friend who changes his life. This new friend introduces him to the martial arts, in which he begins to gain confidence in himself. As the months pass, his fear of everyone begins to diminish. In time, he begins to understand the behavior and character of other people as well as learning more about himself and his own true character.
