Introduction to Wedding Ministry Book

This is the first of four required course texts of the Wedding Minister Certification and Training Program offered by Wedding Ministers, Inc. The program offers complete training in all the basics of wedding ministry both for newly ordained ministers as well as experienced pastors, priests, and other church leaders. This includes how to officiate and conduct various rituals, how to create and design a personalized ceremony, how to lead an effective wedding rehearsal, wedding minister administration, successful interviewing skills for wedding ministers and much more. This book presents an overview of the emerging wedding ministry field and what it takes to be an effective wedding minister. Subjects in Course One include ordination, a survey of legal requirements by state, characteristics of the effective wedding minister, understanding engaged couples and what brides are looking for in an officiant, the contract and other how-to's of wedding ministry administration.
