Lancaster and York: A Century of English History (A.D. 1399-1485) Book

I tried to overlook the problems I had with the structure and editing of this book to remain objective on the material.

I won’t go into a lot of detail but be warned that red apple publishing didn’t do the author any favors with the strange way of structuring parts of the book and downright terrible editing and proofreading.

Now the actual material otherwise was more “real” than many memoirs around. The regurgitating verbatim entire letters written home often was dull and sometimes led to nowhere. But the book was saved by the non letter material due to the interesting things this soldier encountered in his service.
