The Economics of Web Comics, 2nd Edition
There aren't a lot of books about the business side of making comics. There are even less about web comics. This was and enlightening and sobering read for anyone interested in the possibility of making money from a web comic.
This is the updated version, and even that is now seven years old. Not touched on at all is the rise of both Comixology and Kickstarter. Would definitely read a third edition if it covered emerging topics like that.
It's a little dry, but is short and summarizes key points as business takeaways.
