The New Sensual Massage Book

I lost this book in a move and am so glad to have found it again in a slioghtly updated version, on Kindle.

First, yes the title creeps me out a bit, and its hard to recommend to others because some of the photos inside it are R-rated, although medical not sexual. I wish it had been marketed differently, but hey not my call.

The content is pure gold. I learned all of the techniques over time with a regular partner, and got pretty decent. Sadly now my hands are weak and I have forgotten it all, hence my re-reading of it!

So much of this book is expert (but easy) material that really opens your eyes as to what massage can do - its not just mashing tense muscles, it is passive exercise. it is toxin removal. It is redirecting blood flow into narrow capillaries to feed areas that need it. And a lot, lot more.

Heck it is worth it just for the section on hand massages. you can make friends for life in about 4 minutes. very few people realize that their hands need a massage until you take then thru one.

I had a massage partner for close to 5 years, and many other friends and family. Not once did anyone take their clothes off, nor did i ever use any massage to induce "sexytime". What I am saying is, if you dont mind the pictures, this book is the best resource out there to learn incredible platonic, healthy massage techniques, and the book has nothing to do with seduction or such R-rated topics. The pics may not be safe for work, but the writing is. The pics are effectively medical - its hard to see how the right kidney is slightly lower if the patient is wearing a jean jacket heh.

Recommended for those wanting a "normal massage" book. Its fantastic.
